Join clinical herbalist Oren Hercz (RHP) to learn how the wild plants growing around us can be used as medicine.
We'll wander around the gardens and nearby trail, exploring the identification, medicinal properties, and preparation of many common plants and tress we pass by every day. Oren will share practical knowledge based on his 20+ years experience in gathering, preparing, and using herbal medicine both at home and in clinical practice. Participants will gain usable knowledge they can implement right away to help maintain and restore health.
At the end of our medicinal plant walk, the conversation will continue around a pot of wild medicine tea that we will brew together.
Schedule
We will start with a 15 minute sit down talk at Chicory Blue, followed by the walkabout, and then finishing with brewing our medicinal tea together. Come early if you like to grab a bite to eat and/or a drink for the walk and talk (Chicory Blue has wonderful food offerings!).
Cost: $25 + HST
